The Energy of Equality: How Raising our Vibration Creates Collective Change
“We are equal.”
We say it. We write it. We fight for it. But do we believe it?
This International Women’s Day, I want to explore something deeper than words or actions—something unseen yet powerful. Energy.
We all carry energy, and whether we realize it or not, we radiate it into the world. But what happens when the energy we send out is not in alignment with the words we speak?
Many women today say they believe in equality. They fight for it. They stand for it. But deep within, in the subconscious mind—the place where childhood conditioning and generational beliefs live—there’s a different story playing.
Somewhere inside, a quiet whisper still lingers: Am I really enough? Do I truly deserve to take up space? Is my voice as powerful as theirs? And that whisper—however faint—affects everything.
The Disparity Between Thought and Belief
If we only think we are equal but don’t feel it in our core, there’s a misalignment in the energy we emit. That misalignment shapes how we show up in the world—how we speak, how we carry ourselves, and how we allow ourselves to be treated.
I grew up in the Girl Power era. The Spice Girls were shouting about empowerment, the world was telling me I could be anything I wanted, and I believed it—on the surface.
But my heart? My soul? They took much longer to catch up.
Because beneath the loud messages of possibility, I had already absorbed the quiet, unspoken rules passed down through generations. The belief that I should be small, that I should not take up too much space, that my emotions made me weak, that my worth depended on how the world perceived me.
And so, for years—decades, even—I carried both beliefs. My mind said I am capable, but my subconscious whispered I am less than. And until I brought that whisper into the light, my energy was never truly free.
I wrote a poem as a letter to my inner child—an apology for believing in those old stories. And today, I want to share it with you.
‘Dear Little One’ – A Letter to My Inner Child
Hey you,
I owe you an apology. I was wrong.
I let their voices settle into your bones,
Let their words shape the way you saw yourself.
I didn’t question it. I didn’t fight it.
I just carried it, like my mother did.
Like her mother before her.
They said it so often, I thought it was true.
“Girls are weak.” So I told you to toughen up.
“Girls are oversensitive.” So I taught you to swallow your pain.
“Girls are bitches.” So I made you believe we were each other’s enemies.
“She’s hormonal.” So I made you question your own emotions.
“She loves herself.” So I warned you not to be proud.
I thought I was keeping you safe. But I was only making you smaller.
And yet, my mind always knew.
I grew up on Girl Power, raised on the voices of women,
The Spice Girls told me I could be anything,
Do anything, Take up space, Break the mold.
And I believed them—on the surface.
I said the words. I played the part. But deep inside? I still felt less than.
I told the world I was worthy, But my heart whispered otherwise.
And it took me forty years to hear that whisper,
To face it. To rewrite it.
But listen to me now. They lied.
You were never meant to be small.
You were never meant to be silent.
You were never meant to dim your own light so others could shine.
I give you permission to take it back.
To be loud. To be bold. To take up space.
To shake the ground beneath your feet with every step you take
Toward the life they told you wasn’t meant for you.
Because it is. Because it always was.
And when you rise, little one,
When you stand tall in all that you are,
You won’t just set yourself free— You’ll break the chain for every girl who comes after you.
Always remember, little one…
I love you.
I am so proud of you.
You are worthy.
You are capable.
You are enough.
You are perfect… just as you are!
Raising Our Vibration: A Call to Action
This is how we change the world.
Not just by demanding equality on the outside, But by believing it on the inside. By unlearning the whispers that tell us we are small. By embodying confidence—not just speaking about it. By shifting our energy to one of certainty, not just hope.
When we truly believe we are equal, we emit the energy of equality.
And energy is contagious.
Imagine what happens when every woman stops questioning her worth. Imagine the shift when we all walk into rooms knowing we belong. Imagine a world where the next generation of girls never doubts their place.
It starts with us.
So this International Women’s Day, I ask you: Do you truly, deeply, wholeheartedly believe that you are equal? Not just in your mind, but in your soul? If not, let today be the day you start rewriting the story.
Raise your vibration. Own your space. Believe it. Feel it. Live it.
Because when we do, the world will have no choice but to follow.
